Mike is a USA Hockey level 4 coach, who has been coaching hockey since 2004. He has coached all youth hockey levels as well as both Varsity and JV high school teams. Currently Mike is the Head Coach for the Fairfield University Men's hockey team. This season is his eighth behind the bench for Fairfield. The Stags have made it the National Championships four consecutive seasons, the longest active streak of any team, and Coach Silva was just named Empire Conference Coach of the Year for the 2017-18 season.
One of the cornerstones of CT’s hockey community, Eric is in his fifth year as head coach and owner of the EHL CT Roughriders. He is also a former Assistant Coach of the Yale University Men’s hockey team. Eric has 21 years of coaching experience, including a Master Level USA Hockey Coaching Certificate and has coached for some of the most premier organizations in the tri-state area and privately coached hundreds of Tier 1 and AAA players.
John grew up playing youth hockey at the New Canaan Winter Club, continuing on to play at New Canaan High School. While attending Clarkson University, John captained the Backstreets Hockey Club in the Northern Adult Hockey League. John is active in several local men’s programs and has coaching experience at the Mite through Midget Levels.
Scott Raymond has been coaching up and down the East Coast for the past 30 years as well as a number of years on the West Coast. Scott has coached youth hockey, high school, and college hockey. Scott played youth hockey for the Mid Fairfield Tier 1 program, and continued his career at Norwalk High School where he earned several honors including Team Connecticut, Hockey Night In Boston , All-City, All-FCIAC, and All-State. Scott attended Fitchburg State College. Scott has a passion and respect for the game of hockey, and enjoys having the opportunity to share his knowledge of the game with the current youth players in the area.
Seth played for the University of Delaware ACHA D1 Men’s Varsity Hockey team. He has been coaching girls and boys youth hockey at all levels for the past 11 years. Most recently, Seth coached at the CT Ice Cats and served as the Hockey Director for the Greenwich Panthers. Seth continues to run power skating clinics and offers private instruction for all players of all ages and skill levels.
Ron has been coaching since 2012, most notably for three years as the hockey director and head coach of St. Luke’s Boys Varsity hockey team where they won the FAA championship in 2015. He has coached youth hockey at all levels for seven years. He played in the EJHL-Junior A from 2003-2006 and D3 hockey from 2007-09.
A Level 5 USA Hockey coach since 2007, Rosario has coached all levels at Mid-Fairfield, CT Yankees, Stamford, and Darien Youth Hockey. Teams that Rosario has coached have won CHC State and Regional Championships, 3 Silver Stick Championships, and 4 Lake Placid Tournament Gold Medals. Rosario has also assisted with the Stamford and Trinity Boy’s High School programs.
Mike is in his 9th year of coaching and has coached players and goalies from the learn to skate to the college club level. Mike is a graduate of Quinnipiac University where he played goal for the club hockey team at school. For the past 2 years, he was the Assistant Coach for Branford High School. Currently, Mike is an Apprentice Teacher at New Canaan Country School and will be coaching with the Upper School hockey team. He is also available for goaltending lessons.
